Overview

This page introduces Woo Auction Software plugin and the types of auctions currently supported. You can select from the available options and get started right from your WordPress Dashboard.

The Woo Auction Software is used to add auction products on the website. The plugin consists of 3 auction types namely Simple, Penny and Reverse auction.

Simple Auction: It is the most common type of auction where auction will start from specific price and users place bids. The user with highest bid after auction ends will get right to buy the product.

Penny Auction: In Penny auction, user will need to buy bids in order to place bids. The point to notice here is that, once the user placed a bid, his bid is gone and is not refundable. The user with highest bid after auction ends will get right to buy the product at cost of current bid.

Reverse Auction: It is exactly the reverse of Simple auction. Auction will start from specific price and users place bids to lower the bid price. The user with lowest bid after auction ends will get right to buy(or sell) the product.
